Over a period of 11 years, hundreds of homeowners facing foreclosure were the victims of a foreclosure remediation scam, which eventually forced many into involuntary bankruptcy proceedings.  Andrew Bartok’s company, Revelations a/k/a “Foreclosure Club of America”, promised homeowners that, in exchange for fees paid to his company, they would be able to stay in their homes and later repurchase the properties at foreclosure auctions.  Desperate to keep their homes and save their credit, the homeowners agreed.

The company filed fraudulent bankruptcy petitions and other false documents with U.S. Bankruptcy Courts in Newark, NJ and Poughkeepsie, NY, to forestall the foreclosure of the clients’ homes as long as possible while Revelations continued to collect its monthly fees.

Now Andrew Bartok faces up to 95 years in prison for deceiving homeowners in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Florida.

Reports say that none of Bartok’s clients ever bought their homes back using the methods he advocated.  Instead, Bartok collected millions of dollars in fees from his victims and used the proceeds to fund a lavish lifestyle for himself and his family, including a $130,000 Mercedes-Benz car, trips to Hawaii and Aruba, and high-stakes gambling at casinos in Atlantic City.
